The Real Sleddog Experience

LEAD YOUR TEAM

How does the adventure begin?

It all starts with a transfer from the Val Veny cable car parking lot by snowmobile or snowcat, a journey of about 20 minutes that will bring you to our base, wildhomes.it.

We will provide helmets if you don’t have your own! Then, you’ll get to meet the real stars of the experience, our Alaskan Huskies.

The adventure begins with a few basic theoretical instructions from musher Fabrizio Lovati and his team (usually in English). After that, you’re ready to go!
A special, fully electric snowmobile will precede the sled team, and you’ll be able to watch your friends drive the sled, take pictures, and then… SWITCH! It will be your turn to drive!

Each of you will have the chance to personally drive a sled pulled by 6 Alaskan Huskies, experiencing the thrill that this sport provides. Every excursion is personalized based on your individual abilities, and our guide team will be there to assist you if you’re not confident in driving on your own!
The main route is located in Val Veny, surrounded by nature, in an unspoiled landscape. We will traverse forests and plains together while guiding the sled, before returning to our base WildHomes.it.
Afterward, enjoy a commemorative photo and a warm drink at the cozy chalet, where our staff will offer you an aperitif or hot tea and answer any questions about sleddog sport around the world. After approximately 2 hours, we will return to the valley via snowmobile.

DON’T FORGET YOUR CAMERA!

Full Moon Excursions are available ONLY for experienced participants.
